Comments: A kilometer east of Notre-Dame-de-Saint-Bertrand de Comminges, the church was first mentioned in the ´Book of Miracles of St. Bertrand´ Vital notary, which suggests the occupation since the Roman times. The current basilica was built in the eleventh and twelfth centuries, and consecrated in 1200 by Bishop Raymond-Arnaud de Labarthe.
